Zwitterionic polyacrylamide PAMCA is copolymerized by cation monomer, acrylamide monomer and hydrolytic reagent, a zwitterionic irrecular polymer with both cation and anion charge. PAMCA is white fine grain or solid powder.

Zwitterionic polyacrylamide PAMCA, because of its cationic group and anion group, has the characteristics of general cationic flocculant, and shows better performance. Such flocculants can be used in a wide range of PH values, with higher water filtration capacity, lower cake moisture content, and can also be used for strong acid leaching of ores or recovering valuable metals from acidic catalysts containing metals. Amphoteric ion type is by no means a mixture of anionic and cationic type. If cationic polyacrylamide is used in conjunction with anionic polyacrylamide, precipitation will occur. So amphoteric ion products are the most ideal.

Used as sludge dewatering agent, especially, better efficiency in the water, that the water situation is complicated or changed usually, the oil refinery and chemicals industries.
As water treatment flocculant, better than cation PAM and anion PAM alone in lowering the surface tension at the same condition.
